Will Turner

This is the third time that I have photographed Will. It's been wonderful watching his journey throughout the years I've known him . Great actors are always evolving, especially when they reflect on where they are emotionally, intellectually, and how it affects where they are in the industry.

When I'm shooting, My world revolves around the person I'm photographing. Will asked how I have been and how my life was affected by the pandemic. This threw me off guard a bit because I had to put my camera down and make it about me for a bit. We took a break and talked. I shared how I was feeling and when I asked him the same question, something happened. As he shared his experiences and feelings with me, a door opened to a side of him I have never seen. I picked up my camera and quietly began to shoot. I wasn't
trying to get "the shot"... I just had faith that my camera would capture him. I just listened and snapped. It's moments like this that remind me just how much I love my Job.
